AMA with an avian vet
Bring your questions about checkups, bloodwork, weight changes, and the little things you're never sure are worth a vet visit.

Most parrot owners have a running list of questions they forget to ask at the vet. Is that new behavior hormonal or something more? How much weight change is too much? Does my bird really need bloodwork every year? This is your chance to finally ask them.
In this live Ask Me Anything, an experienced avian veterinarian will answer member questions about everyday health and preventive care. Some questions will be big, and some will be the small “is this normal?” kind. All of them are welcome.
What we’ll talk about:
- What a good annual exam looks like, and what bloodwork can tell you
- Reading your bird’s weight trends and when a change is worth a call
- Diet, feather condition, and the early signs owners tend to miss
- How to tell the difference between “watch it” and “go in today”
You can send questions ahead of time or ask them live. This session is for education and doesn’t replace an exam for your own bird, but it should help you walk into your next appointment better prepared.
